The purpose of this page is to explain in simple terms the steps you need to take before coming here, the documents to submit, and how to organize your medical stay.

Initial contact

Before booking an appointment, please send us the following information by e-mail or via our contact form:

– Your last name, first name and date of birth
– Your country of residence
– Your telephone number with international dialling code
– A description of the problem or the desired treatment
– Your recent X-rays or scans (panoramic dental, CBCT, CT scan, MRI as applicable)
– The medical or dental reports available
– Your current medical treatments
– Any allergies

These documents allow the surgeon to evaluate your situation and determine:

  • whether a remote consultation is possible,
  • whether additional examinations are necessary,
  • or whether a surgical procedure can be scheduled directly.

Remote consultation

In some cases, an initial consultation can be organized by videoconference.

This consultation allows you to:

  • analyze your medical file,
  • discuss the different treatment options,
  • explain the benefits and risks of the procedure,
  • organize your medical stay in Switzerland.

Following this consultation, a treatment plan and a cost estimate can be sent to you.

Organizing your medical stay

Depending on the type of procedure, a stay of several days in Switzerland may be necessary.

We recommend that you plan for:

  • flexible travel tickets,
  • accommodation close to the office or clinic,
  • a companion for certain procedures,
  • enough time before your return flight if post-operative monitoring
    is necessary.

Documents required prior to surgery

Before your operation, certain documents may be requested:

For your own safety, it is important to provide accurate and complete medical information.

The day of the procedure

On the day of your procedure, please come with:

  • your identity documents,
  • your original radiological examinations,
  • your usual medications,
  • the medical documents requested,
  • a companion if recommended.

Depending on the type of anesthesia, you may be asked to:

  • be fasting several hours before the procedure,
  • not to drive after the operation,
  • remain under observation for several hours.

All pre-operative instructions will be communicated to you in advance.

Post-operative follow-up

After your procedure, medical follow-up is organized to ensure that your recovery is progressing well.

Depending on your situation, follow-up can be carried out:

  • at the office,
  • by videoconference,
  • in collaboration with your dentist or doctor in your country.

You will also receive:

  • the contact details to reach in case of emergency,
  • the necessary prescriptions,
  • the post-operative recommendations.

Administrative information and payments

Payment terms and quotations are explained before any procedure.

Depending on the case:

  • a deposit may be requested before booking the procedure,
  • some treatments may be covered by insurance,
  • travel and accommodation costs remain the responsibility of the patient.
